Job summary

Fairchild Equipment Inc. is seeking an experienced forklift repair technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites. You will read work orders, communicate with customers, and ensure timely and accurate service completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years mechanic experience in material handling equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
• Ability to read safety manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Repair, diagnose, inspect, and maintain material handling equipment on customer work orders.
• Communicate diagnosed repairs and obtain customer approvals.
• Read work orders and observe equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Provide repair estimates and complete service forms daily.
• Ensure safety checks and proper lubrication and adjustments.
