Fairchild Equipment in Ham Lake, MN is seeking a Forklift Service Road Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites. You will read work orders, provide estimates, and coordinate with the parts and service teams.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 3+ years of mechanic experience and/or education relating to the position.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Repair, diagnose, inspect, and maintain all material handling equipment for customer work orders assigned to you.
• Accept repair orders as assigned by Service Writer.
• Communicate with customers on diagnosed repairs and obtain approvals.
• Read work orders, observe and listen to truck to diagnose malfunction.
• Provide estimates and repair as approved.
• Promote parts, service, and equipment sales.
• Complete service forms daily via work tablet.
• Maintain safety and professional image on-site.
