Job summary

Advanced Material Handling Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklift fleets and related material handling equipment at customer sites. You will coordinate with the Service Coordinator, communicate with customers, and identify larger repair opportunities for timely resolutions.

Requirements include 2–3 years of field experience, a High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant Field Service experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must have excellent driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on forklifts and related equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Inspect forklifts and document all findings for additional repairs or maintenance.
• Consult with customers regarding needed repairs or maintenance items.
• Follow safety procedures and safely operate tools, lifts and hoists.
• Interpret service manuals and schematics; use diagnostic instruments.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
• Manage time and parts inventory; coordinate with service coordinator.
