Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Foreperson to ensure productive daily operations and to work with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. You will troubleshoot field issues, mentor crew, and enforce safety standards, coordinating with property owners as needed.

The role involves supervising crew activities, maintaining records, and promoting strong customer relations while handling occasional storm-work travel.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols for lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to field requirements.
• Capable of driving an approved company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners/customers to obtain access and address issues.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance; controls crew costs.
