Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily field operations, coordinate crew activities, and enforce safety standards on jobs in the Humboldt, TN area. You will work closely with management to determine staffing, deadlines, and training needs while mentoring crew members.

The role involves field training, safety enforcement, and coordinating with property owners. A CDL is required, and travel for storm-related work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Understands drawings and symbols for lines, voltages and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Strong organizational ability and multitasking capability.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle and travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work from orders.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforce safety practices per OSHA and company policy; provide safety training.
• Communicate with property owners about access, interruptions, and responsibilities.
• Obtain permissions to perform work and document approvals.
• Maintain customer relations and professional conduct on job sites.
• Investigate incidents and minor damage; assist with reports and claims.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Control crew costs and optimize use of personnel and equipment.
• Provide reports on incidents, truck breakdowns, and follow-ups to management.
