Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC seeks a Foreperson to coordinate daily field operations, mentor crew members, and ensure safety compliance on job sites. You will train staff, supervise tasks, and communicate with property owners to obtain access and manage work scope.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to interpret drawings, and experience driving safety standards in a dynamic outdoor environment. CDL may be required for operations and storm assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to field requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA requirements; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and performance reports; tracks costs and resources.
• Interacts with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Inspects and arranges repairs to tools, trucks, and equipment; maintains housekeeping.
