Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily operations, coordinate with management on hiring, deadlines, and safety protocols, and mentor crew. You will troubleshoot site issues and ensure training and compliance.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits (retirement, health, life and disability). A valid CDL, pre-employment screening, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work independently.
• Must have valid CDL and be able to drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with hands above head as needed.
• Weight limit of approximately 300 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Discusses access, property issues, and coordinates with owners and supervisors.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance.
• Maintains equipment and ensures DOT maintenance compliance.
