HMT, Baytown, TX, is seeking a Foreman to supervise field tank repair/construction jobs. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with the Field Superintendent and customers. Expect to train crews, audit progress, and manage multiple sites with travel.

The role requires 3+ years in AST industries, welding in all positions, and strong organizational skills. A 50 lb lift, extensive field work, and travel are involved.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in above ground storage tank repair, construction and/or industrial environments.
• Must be able to weld in all positions with SMAW, FCAW, and SAW.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to complete all required paperwork associated with safety and QA/QC without assistance.
• Ability to interpret field and fabrication drawings.
• Must be DOT OQ qualified.
• Must have a 3-year clean driving record.
• Ability to handle multiple jobs concurrently.
• Maintain accurate Field Progress Reports.
• Able to give clear and concise instructions to multiple employees in the execution of work.
• Must have experience managing multiple crews/job sites.
• Must be willing to travel for long periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Ensure / Audit Field Progress Reports to ensure accuracy
• Certified to run and able to train employees on typical equipment found on large tank repair/construction jobs.
• Operate lull, skid steer loaders, aerial equipment such as man lifts, Boom lifts, etc.
• Coordinate communication among team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed.
• Work with Field Superintendent to ensure job schedules and performance issues are addressed.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and safety policies.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and scope changes.
• Mentor and train crew members in tank building.
