Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full‑time Foreman/Tank Builder to supervise field projects nationwide from our Newark-area operations base. The role requires coordinating with customers, vendors and subcontractors, maintaining safety standards and project quality, and guiding crew performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and training in welding or related trades.

Qualifications

• Proven communication and organization skills.
• Ability to solve problems and suggest improvements.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Welding ability is a plus; able to lift 50 lbs and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and lead on construction projects.
• Act as point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on job sites.
• Understand contract scope and identify field changes (change orders).
• Lead safety culture and ensure training and certifications for crew.
