Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead field projects nationwide from our Flemington NJ area. The role requires strong supervision, safety leadership, and hands-on welding and tank construction knowledge.

You will coordinate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and oversee quality control on diverse tank projects across multiple states. Previous field leadership is preferred.

• Evidence of reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and senior leadership on PTS projects.
• Serve as the main on-site contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on every job.
• Understand contract scope and identify field change opportunities.
• Lead safety initiatives and foster a safety culture within the crew.
• Ensure quality by minimizing rework and sloppy workmanship.
• Improve field productivity to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Balance customer satisfaction with profitability and manage scope changes.
• Share welding, structural erection, tank repair and rigging expertise with the crew.
• Evaluate field workers and guide training; communicate results to PM/HR.
