Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside Sales Professional to cover the Westchester, NY / Fairfield County, CT area. You will promote Freshpoint’s offerings, build lasting relationships with new and existing accounts, and drive profitable sales within your territory.

This role may require non-traditional hours, weekend work, and travel. You will receive mileage reimbursement, a cell phone, and access to robust benefits, with clear career progression and sales training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience and/or chef/restaurant management experience.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to grow profits.
• Qualify prospects and align offerings to customer needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive a personal vehicle to accounts, events, and meetings.
• Collect receivables as needed with credit department.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in ongoing training.
