Job summary

Sysco Connecticut, LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to promote Sysco products and services in the New Haven, CT area. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts, meet sales and profit goals, and occasionally work non-traditional hours to serve customers.

The role offers a competitive base salary with bonus opportunities, a car allowance, cell phone, and extensive training within a nationwide sales team. Residency in or relocation to the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in sales, hospitality, or business fields.
• Experience in restaurant management, B2B, or outside sales strongly preferred.
• Bi-lingual ability is a plus, depending on territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth in the territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product/service offerings.
• Drive sales and customer training, manage deliveries and order processes, and coordinate with credit for collections.
