Job summary

Moss seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Phoenix, AZ to keep construction equipment in top condition and ready for job sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service calls, and coordinate with the Equipment Manager to resolve issues on schedule.

The role requires welding and hydraulic system know-how, the ability to troubleshoot electrical problems, and a willingness to travel to multiple sites. Strong safety discipline and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Associate Degree in a Heavy Equipment Program.
Minimum 5 Years Construction Industry Experience.
Maintain DOT physical for driving a commercial service truck; CDL preferred but not required.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to work on hydraulic and air braking systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and diesel engines.
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Willingness to travel to job sites (FL, GA and/or AR) and overnight stays as needed.
Ability to work in outdoor conditions and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform regular routine preventative maintenance service on construction equipment.
Respond to service call requests and perform repairs or maintenance as coordinated with the Equipment Manager.
Communicate and troubleshoot service issues with the Equipment Manager and vendors.
Ensure work orders are completed and equipment is safe and jobsite ready.
Must have welding and burning ability.
Complete electronic work orders and report daily.
Work safely to protect personnel, equipment and surrounding property.
