Job summary

Moss is seeking a Fleet Equipment Mechanic for its West Memphis, AR operations, with multi-state travel to service construction equipment and vehicles. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and coordination with the Equipment Manager to keep all assets in job-ready condition.

Ideal candidates have a heavy equipment background, at least 5 years in construction trades, and the ability to perform welding.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in heavy equipment required.
• Minimum 5 years construction industry experience.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and diesel engines beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on construction equipment.
• Respond to service calls and coordinate repairs with Equipment Manager.
• Troubleshoot issues with vendors and ensure quality of service.
• Complete electronic work orders daily and ensure jobsite readiness.
• Must have welding and burning ability.
• Travel to job sites with possible overnight stays (FL, GA, AR).
