Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field service professional to perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites. You will read blueprints and manuals and manage daily service calls.

The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, strong customer-facing problem solving, and PC skills. A valid US driver's license and any manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity and program systems products.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
