Job summary

Pavion Corp is hiring a Service Technician to install, service and troubleshoot fire, alarm, CCTV and access control systems in the Richmond area and surrounding markets. You will diagnose issues, program equipment, and provide remote support to customers while maintaining professionalism and timely communication with dispatch.

Required are 2+ years in burglar alarm, CCTV/IP-CCTV, and access control service, HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED.
2+ years of Burglar Alarm Service Experience.
2+ years of CCTV/IP-CCTV Service Experience.
2+ years of Access Control Service Experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
Valid Driver's License required.
Same day travel required; Richmond and Virginia Beach markets.

Responsibilities

Service, Troubleshoot & program burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Ensure equipment is functional and operational.
Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for repair.
Replace system components as assigned; panels, alarms, etc.
Provide remote technical support to customers including diagnosis of signal issues.
Interact professionally with customers.
Coordinate with Manager and dispatcher to complete work orders efficiently.
Inform dispatcher or manager the status of service calls.
Test and inspect fire alarm systems.
Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment.
