Job summary

Pavion Corp is hiring a Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm, burglar alarm, CCTV, and access control systems in the Lynchburg and surrounding Virginia markets. The role emphasizes hands-on field work, customer interaction, and cooperation with dispatch and management.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and 2+ years in burglar alarm, CCTV/IP-CCTV, and access control service.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED.
2+ years Burglar Alarm Service Experience.
2+ years CCTV/IP-CCTV Service Experience.
2+ years Access Control Service Experience.
Ability to carry and climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
Valid Driver's License.
Basic computer/tablet skills.
Must be able to travel within Richmond/Virginia Beach markets.

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot & program burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Ensure equipment is functional and operational.
Diagnose causes of problems for repair.
Replace system components as assigned; panels, alarms, etc.
Provide technical support to customers including remote diagnosis.
Interact professionally with customers.
Coordinate with Manager for work orders.
Inform dispatcher/manager of service status.
Test and inspect fire alarm systems.
Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment.
