Job summary

Silco Fire & Security in Columbus, OH seeks a Fire Inspection Sales Consultant to win new customers and cross-sell inspection services for extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms, and related systems. The Ohio Fire Code requires annual inspections, so you're building a trusted partner network.

You'll prospect, generate territory pipeline, prepare proposals, and close business while meeting performance standards and maintaining accurate records. Field-based, full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

• 2 years of business-to-business sales experience.
• Willingness to cold call; excellent follow-up and organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online research tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare proposals and communicate with customers in English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets Silco's insurance requirements (car allowance provided).

Responsibilities

• Generate new inspection customers through prospecting and cold calling.
• Cross-sell inspection services to existing Silco customers.
• Research prospects online and build a territory pipeline.
• Prepare proposals and follow up consistently to close business.
• Meet minimum performance standards and grow your book of business over time.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity.
