Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, program, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of fire alarm systems across multiple sites. You will move from site to site, solving problems in real time, and working directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with major fire alarm manufacturers, a strong understanding of NFPA 72 and related codes, and excellent communication skills to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, OSHA regulations.
• Hands-on experience with major fire alarm systems and manufacturers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with customers, contractors, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per NFPA 72 and standards.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements clearly.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
• Document findings and parts used, maintain clear customer communication.
