Job summary

Solucient Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation & Service Technician to own fire alarm systems from install to testing, inspection, and service. You will work on life-safety systems with focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

The role requires NICET Level I or II certification, hands-on field experience, and the ability to read plans and diagrams. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• NICET Level I or II certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Perform commissioning, system verification, and required inspections.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and determine corrective action.
• Document work performed, testing results, deficiencies, programming changes, and materials.
• Communicate progress and next steps with clients and teammates.
• Train clients on system operation and provide technical support.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and other resources.
