Job summary

Cornet, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems across commercial properties. The role requires independent field work and strong customer communication.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with NICET certification preferred or state-mandated. Experience with NFPA 72 and Notifier devices is desired; willingness to participate in on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET preferred/required by state.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire codes; NICET preferred.
• Experience servicing fire alarm or life safety systems is preferred (1–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Program, configure, and verify fire alarm control panels and related devices.
• Complete service reports, inspections, and compliance forms accurately.
