Job summary

Socket Fiber is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work in the Columbia, Missouri area, primarily in the field. You’ll walk neighborhoods, talk with homeowners, and introduce them to Socket’s fiber internet.

Expect to educate, engage, and close sales with an uncapped commission structure and guaranteed base pay. No traditional sales background required; we train competitive, coachable, energetic people.

Responsibilities

• Walk neighborhoods and talk with residents about switching to Socket Fiber.
• Build rapport quickly and make a strong first impression.
• Explain services and answer questions using provided tools and training.
• Close sales and log activity in the CRM.
• Follow up with leads and coordinate with installation team.
• Share field insights to improve outreach.
• Represent Socket Fiber professionally and follow safety guidelines.
