Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. is seeking an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You will act as the on-site eyes and ears for fiber networks, monitoring 811 tickets, and responding to outages while on the road.

This field role emphasizes outdoor work, driving, and problem-solving in real time. The position requires driving a defined route, long windshield time, and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle with proper auto insurance.
• Dependability, punctuality, and reliability to complete assignments on time.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily routes; drive assigned fiber routes.
• Monitor routes for risks; address issues before they escalate.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging activities.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and respond to outages as needed.
• Log changes in infrastructure along the route and report progress to the field team.
• Verify quality and adherence of work under the SOW; communicate with clients and contractors.
