Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. seeks an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You’ll be the on-the-ground eyes for our fiber networks, monitoring tickets, outages, and route activity while coordinating with clients, contractors, and homeowners.

The role requires driving a set route, staying outdoors in varied weather, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and MS Office proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle with adequate auto liability coverage.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential for field-based work.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive an assigned fiber route daily; monitor 811 tickets and construction activity.
• Respond to outages and mitigate potential failure points before they escalate.
• Log changes in infrastructure along the route and communicate with clients and contractors.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of work performed under the scope of work (SOW).
• Provide clear, professional communication with colleagues, customers, and homeowners.
