Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator to monitor fiber networks, respond to outages, and drive assigned routes.

This field position emphasizes outdoor work, daily windshield time, and proactive problem-solving in collaboration with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle with auto liability coverage of 100/300/100.
• Dependability: punctual and reliable to complete daily assignments.
• Attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather; prior outdoor experience is a plus.
• Physically capable to walk extensively, bend, sit, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid computer proficiency; comfortable with Microsoft tools for reporting and communication.
• Knowledge of underground utilities and local dig laws is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.
• Customer service instincts to interpret and deliver client needs.
• Sharp organizational skills to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Clear written and verbal communication; adapt to audience.
• Rain-or-shine mindset; work continues regardless of weather.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily route and assignments.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets and maps to anticipate digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and address outages.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Report to field to verify work quality under SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
