Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator/outside plant expert to monitor fiber routes, drive daily, and prevent issues on the ground. You will be the eyes and ears on our clients' networks, coordinating with contractors and homeowners.

Ideal candidates are outdoors-ready, able to manage routes, review tickets, and communicate effectively. Pay ranges hourly, with annual bonus potential and benefits. Based in Indiana, field-based role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current drivers license.
• Reliable personal vehicle suitable for representing the company.
• Auto insurance meeting state requirements (minimum liability coverage).
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan your route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets and maps to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate failures.
• Log and report changes in infrastructure along the route.
• Verify work quality and adherence to the SOW in the field.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
