Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. (Kinetic) is seeking a skilled Splicer to join the construction team. The role involves splicing fiber optic and copper cables, reading schematics, and maintaining splice records both indoors and outdoors. You will manage outside plant activities, support project timelines, and uphold safety and DOT procedures.

The position requires travel up to 50% of the year, weekend work, and overtime as needed, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Must travel up to 50% and obtain CDL after hiring.
• DOT pre-hire certification and safety compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic and copper cables; construct splice cases and maintain records.
• Read staking sheets and blueprints; ensure safety and DOT standards.
• Maintain OSP activities, inventory, and field notes; support project timelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspect lines; participate in safety meetings.
