Job summary

Uniti, through its Kinetic unit, is seeking a Splicer on the construction team to responsibly splice fiber optic and copper cables in outdoor and indoor settings. You will read schematics, maintain OSP activities, and support project timelines while ensuring safety and accurate records across multiple sites.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a valid driver's license with CDL post-hire, along with DOT pre-hire certification. Weekend and overtime work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL post-hire required.
• DOT pre-hire certification.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic and copper cables with hand tools or equipment.
• Read, create, and maintain splicing schematics and diagrams.
• Interpret staking sheets and blueprints.
• Maintain safety procedures and DOT vehicle inspections.
• Record splice locations, margins, and update drawings.
• Travel as needed, including weekends and overtime.
