Job summary

Agility Robotics seeks an experienced Field Failure Analysis Engineer to lead deep-dive investigations of electromechanical field failures across Digit fleets. You will bridge field operations, customer deployments, and engineering to rapidly contain failures and drive corrective actions back into manufacturing.

Responsibilities include end-to-end failure analysis, correlation with telemetry, CAPA execution, containment protocols, lab oversight, and standardized workflows across depots and Salem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on failure analysis or reliability experience on complex electromechanical systems.
• Mechatronics troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and firmware domains.
• Structured RCA mastery with documented corrective actions or CAPA history.
• Proficiency with diagnostic lab tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end field failure investigations on electromechanical modules.
• Correlate field failures with telemetry and logs to reproduce lab failures.
• Own 8D, CAPA, and cross-functional problem-solving with Design and Manufacturing.
• Define containment protocols during safety-critical fleet events.
• Oversee FA lab equipment and coordinate external testing partners.
• Standardize teardown SOPs and failure-code taxonomy across depots.
• Deliver Pareto analyses and executive summaries on reliability trends.
