Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a hands-on Director, Product Quality to lead Field Quality and Failure Analysis across all deployed products. You will own fleet health, drive RCA/CAPA, and establish containment protocols while bridging Field Operations, Customer Success, Hardware/Software teams.

You bring 10+ years in quality/reliability engineering for complex hardware, with 5+ years of people leadership and proven experience in 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and DFDR methods; bachelor’s in engineering required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in Quality/Field/ Reliability Engineering within high-complexity hardware industries.
• 5+ years of direct people management leading technical teams.
• Hands-on experience executing physical failure analysis on electromechanical systems.
• Certified or expert in 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, FTA, FMEA, Gauge R&R.

Responsibilities

• Own Field Quality & Fleet Health metrics across all products.
• Lead Failure Analysis and CAPA for field returns and hardware issues.
• Establish containment protocols for critical field events.
• Bridge Field Ops, Customer Success, Hardware, and Software teams.
• Maintain Closed-Loop CAPA tracking across multi-site deployments.
• Hose executive Field Quality Reviews with data and Pareto analyses.
