Job summary

Chipotle is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain restaurant operations through preventative maintenance at market level, including coordinating with the Facilities Manager and Operations Team. You will conduct monthly site visits, analyze restaurant facilities, and develop effective maintenance strategies to keep equipment and systems running smoothly.

You will train managers and staff, ensure compliance with maintenance practices, and communicate findings to regional teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Two years formal or informal training in repair and maintenance.
• Experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or appliance repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level.
• Performing facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulating preventative maintenance schedules for safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities including cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Carrying out procedures for facilities issues that threaten health and safety of employees or customers.
• Training managers, crew, and staff on maintenance concepts and assessing training needs.
