Job summary

Delight Restaurant Group is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the assigned market. The role demands field presence, problem solving, and close collaboration with Operations to ensure safe and efficient restaurant operations.

You will manage preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, and decide when to engage vendors. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities, maintenance, or technical roles (restaurant or multi-unit preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurant locations within the assigned market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and basic electrical/plumbing systems.
• Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors.
• Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system).
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
• Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.
