HRU Technical Resources in Syracuse is seeking an Express Service Consultant to guide customers from arrival to vehicle delivery, blending service advising and sales for optimal maintenance and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in automotive service, strong communication, and proficiency with Word/Excel; travel up to 80% is expected, with a base salary of $80,000 plus a $500/month vehicle allowance in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in automotive service or customer-facing automotive roles.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Walk around vehicles, identify maintenance needs, and explain services.
• Provide accurate pricing, estimated times, and service expectations.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance.
• Promote maintenance services and express service offerings when appropriate.
• Maintain service documentation and repair orders.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and sustain relationships.
