Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution across projects. This role owns craft labor, equipment allocation, and input on estimating, with accountability for safety culture and field reliability.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction, 7+ as a superintendent on industrial/mining projects, deep knowledge across mechanical, structural, civil, concrete, piping and electrical, plus MSHA/OSHA credentials. On-site leadership and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction with 7+ as a Superintendent on industrial or mining projects.
• Ability to run multiple concurrent projects through subordinate Superintendents.
• Deep command of six service lines: mechanical, structural, civil, concrete, piping, electrical.
• MSHA Part 46/48; OSHA 30; and certified for excavation and fall protection.
• Qualified rigger/signal person with crane and critical lift planning experience.
• Proven leadership with craft and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own craft manpower allocation across projects; manage equipment moves.
• Provide five days' notice before removing crew/equipment; obtain NP senior PM approval for milestones.
• Maintain forward manpower forecast against awarded and probable work.
• Select, develop and evaluate Superintendents; manage hiring and transfers.
• Set daily planning standards; enforce field documentation and performance coaching.
• Approve non-standard means/methods and critical lift plans; oversee safety culture.
• Own cross-discipline sequencing on multi-service projects; designate accountable Superintendents.
• Carry authority for commitments up to $25,000 and stop-work authority.
