Job summary

Loenbro Industrial Services is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M. You will plan, schedule, supervise, and manage field teams across energy, mining, pharma, and manufacturing sectors, ensuring safety and compliance.

Travel will be required up to 75% with a strong emphasis on cost control and timely execution. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors, review schedules, and produce progress reports.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction of industrial and commercial projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.
• Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
• Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Experience with Viewpoint or similar accounting software.
• Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman and keep critical activities on track.
• Oversee field activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule and report to PM.
• Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
• Supervise daily work of employees and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
• Provide training on safety and job procedures as needed for team members.
• Produce cost-based estimates for RFPs and assist with project planning.
