Responsibilities

• Construction Assistance: Support inspection of transportation construction phases including grade and elevation checks.
• Material Monitoring: Observe placement of concrete, bituminous mixes, drainage items, and other construction materials.
• Project Documentation: Maintain reports, sketches, daily records, and electronic entries for construction activities.
• Field Problem Solving: Help resolve construction issues and note plan changes during project work.
• Testing Support: Perform visual compaction checks for soils, aggregates, and subsurface layers.
• Technical Coordination: Assist with digital systems, project records, and communication with staff and agencies.
