Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Supervisor, Field Engineering to lead a remote team supporting FAA programs across Northern California. The role oversees six field technicians, coordinates on-site customer interfacing at NCT/TRACO and ZOA/ARTCC, and collaborates with NOCC for dispatches.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with related experience, or six years in lieu of a degree, plus the ability to obtain FAA clearance. Travel and after-hours work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with 0-2 years; in lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience.
• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and technical training and guidance to team members.
• Provide onsite training and ensure policy/compliance with procedures.
• Allocate resources effectively to support operational needs.
• Assist in objective setting, skills enhancement, and performance reviews.
• Serve as escalation point for unresolved issues from Help Desk or NOCC.
• Install, repair, configure, test and maintain IT/network equipment; keep maintenance records.
• Work outside regular hours and travel up to 100% to remote sites.
• Lift up to 32 lbs and access heights up to 10 ft.
