Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel within an assigned territory to install, repair, and support Roche diagnostics products, including clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and lab automation. This field-based role requires on-site service and customer contact across the Kentucky region and beyond.

The candidate should have 5 years of progressive repair or service experience (or a Bachelor's with 1–2 years) and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and technical or military training; relevant experience preferred.
• 8+ years or a Bachelor's with 4+ years of experience in related field are preferred.
• Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel including overnight stays is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine technical support on operation and maintenance of Roche system equipment.
• Perform on-site service, repair and/or installation of Roche products.
• Serve as customer contact for routine technical issues; follow Roche policies and procedures.
• Diagnose hardware, software and system failures; implement cost-effective resolutions.
• Provide feedback on product failure trends and serviceability; document activities per quality procedures.
• Adhere to quality systems and continuously improve quality objectives through daily actions.
• This is a field-based role with travel within the assigned territory.
