Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to provide field leadership and technical direction on major industrial construction projects. You will help ensure safe, efficient execution, interpret designs, resolve field issues, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and construction teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of field/industrial experience, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with construction/engineering background required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience for degree-qualified candidates.
• 12+ years for candidates with trade qualifications.
• Experience supporting industrial construction, commissioning, startup, or major capital projects.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs, and construction documentation.
• Proven capability to develop practical engineering solutions on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering expertise during construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Interpret drawings and specs for construction teams.
• Evaluate field conditions and recommend practical design solutions.
• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure field implementation aligns with requirements.
• Support quality, safety, and commissioning activities in active projects.
• Lead field inspections, walkdowns, testing, and turnover activities.
• Mentor junior field engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and field recommendations.
