Job summary
Worley is seeking a Senior Field Engineer for an active industrial construction site in Bastrop, Texas. The role focuses on providing technical leadership, field engineering expertise, and construction support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs are implemented safely and efficiently.
You will work closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, quality, and project management teams to resolve issues, validate design intent, and drive timely delivery while maintaining
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent trade qualification.
- 7+ years of relevant experience for degree-qualified candidates.
- 12+ years for trade-qualified candidates.
- Experience in industrial construction, commissioning, startup, and major projects.
- Strong knowledge in civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, or instrumentation fields.
Responsibilities
- Provide field engineering expertise during construction, commissioning, and startup.
- Interpret drawings and specifications for construction teams.
- Evaluate field conditions and recommend design modifications.
- Coordinate engineering changes and ensure field implementation.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of field issues.
- Review activities for compliance with specs and codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and field personnel.
