Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co is seeking an entry-level Field/Office Engineer to support field crews and office teams on major infrastructure projects. You will assist with drawings interpretation, takeoffs, and plan development while gaining exposure to underground construction and safety processes.

The role offers opportunities to travel across North America, participate in JHA reviews, and contribute to project cost and scheduling efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related engineering field.
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationally.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in underground construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and measure progress on site.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, packages, and JHA’s.
• Support field surveying and elevations; collect as-built data.
• Assist in preparing labor timesheets and job cost data.
• Support office engineering with material takeoffs and drafting.
