Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field and office operations on geotechnical projects across North America.

You will assist in interpreting drawings, preparing work plans, and supporting cost and scheduling activities. The role offers opportunities for travel, a strong training environment, and exposure to underground tunneling and foundation projects within the Transportation market.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for data handling and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by measurements and % of completed materials.
• Assist in preparing work plans, packages and job hazard analyses (JHA).
• Assist in field surveying, elevations, control points, and as-built data.
• Assist in data entry for job cost system and cost reports.
