Job summary

The Field Engineer will support our sales team with construction management and after-sales field support, traveling to job sites throughout a territory while based at our sales office in St. Louis. The role combines field and office work and includes formalized training under a mentor.

Expect hands-on product exposure, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering, service, and customers to ensure high quality outcomes on installed systems.

Qualifications

• 0-5 yrs experience.
• 4 year technical degree preferred.
• Hands-on internship/co-op experience preferred.
• Must enjoy hands-on product exposure.
• HVAC and/or electrical experience strongly preferred.
• FE Exam completion expected within 6 months of employment.
• MUST BE A “GO GETTER”!
• Must be able to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Support field installations and equipment start-ups to ensure high quality outcomes.
• Provide field and remote troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Maintain expert knowledge of CaptiveAire products.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and local sales teams to find best outcomes on installed jobs.
• Attend construction trade coordination meetings and start-ups on site.
