Job summary

Machinext is recruiting a Technical & Sales Support Engineer for the United States, ideally based in the Northeast. This technical, customer-facing role combines hands-on expertise with relationship building and business development for customers using special-purpose machinery.

You will work remotely where possible while traveling to customer sites across the United States, install and support equipment, train users, and contribute to winning new opportunities with a strong focus on service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, or similar with special-purpose machinery or industrial equipment.
• Ability to train and support equipment operators and end users.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission special-purpose machinery at customer sites.
• Perform machine setup and adjustments and ensure customers are comfortable operating the equipment.
• Train customers and end users on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Support customers in optimizing the use and performance of their equipment.
