Job summary

Mersen, a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials, seeks a Field Applications Engineer for the Northeast. This fully remote role supports the Americas sales team from MA, MD, NH, CT or NY, differentiating technical solutions and advancing the sales process.

You will build relationships with key accounts and provide technical guidance. Responsibilities include translating customer insights into innovations, supporting new product launches, and participating in trade shows

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher.
Strong communication and presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain high level of technical proficiency and market knowledge.
Technically support the sales process for opportunities and accounts.
Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and partners, owning technical aspects and providing guidance.
Engage in PAC process.
Translate field learnings into innovation and product ideas for Mersen.
Support new product launches and trade-show participation with hands-on demos and presentations.
Be self-motivated to learn new technologies via training and self-study.
Travel as needed, up to 50% by air or car.
Perform related duties as required.
