Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Engineer for the Silent Sentinel deployments in the North America Fixed Video Team. You will architect end-to-end surveillance systems and integrate with customer networks, serving as a technical advisor across projects.

Responsibilities include testing, demonstrations, and post-sales support to meet milestones. Travel up to 75% and strict adherence to CJIS Security Policy are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in engineering, CS, networking, IT, cybersecurity or information systems.
• Ability to obtain background clearance for government customers.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and deploy mission-critical video surveillance and network systems per requirements.
• Develop and document video surveillance architectures aligned with SOW and customer specs.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct product testing, lead demonstrations and implement changes per change control.
• Collaborate with project management, subcontractors, and Motorola Technical Support to meet milestones.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations while adhering to policies and conduct.
