Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Project Engineer in Texas for a 100% site-based role with home rotations. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Manager to support solar and BESS projects.

This entry-level field-based position requires relocation to project sites for the project duration, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil/mechanical/electrical engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of relevant construction/renewable energy will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and project specifications for civil and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects for an assigned scope through final client acceptance.
• Prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, and clear communication within the project team.
• Coordinate project activities with the Superintendent and project team to support execution.
• Support project administration to ensure design, budget, and schedule conformity.
• Coordinate progress with suppliers and subcontractors; assist with RFIs and submittals.
