Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support solar, BESS, and high-voltage projects across the United States. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Managers, and Superintendents on site, relocating to project locations for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities include assisting with safety, quality, and schedule adherence, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting RFI/submittal processes while gaining hands-on experience in construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred; equivalent combination of relevant construction, engineering or renewable energy will be considered.
• Basic knowledge of project management phases, safety and security issues/regulations.
• Must read, understand and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for civil/electrical work.
• Strong coordination and communication skills; problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects for an assigned scope from notice to proceed to final acceptance.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, leadership visibility and communication.
• Solve problems and resolve issues through face-to-face communication.
• Coordinate activities for project execution on an assigned scope with oversight from the Superintendent.
• Support project administration to ensure construction aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal processes for the assigned scope.
• Perform contract administration, schedule management, prepare spreadsheets/reports, and manage risk and quality control.
