Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Engineer to support solar, BESS, and high-voltage projects. This entry-level, field-based role works closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents, and is based at a project site across the United States with relocation as required.

You will assist in construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors, help manage safety, quality, schedule, and reporting, and develop practical understanding of IFC drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction mgmt or engineering required or related field.
• Basic knowledge of project management phases and practices.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and job specifications for civil/electrical work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects for an assigned scope from notice to proceed to final acceptance.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, and communication.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face, proactive communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate activities for overall execution of a project scope under Superintendent oversight.
• Support project administration to ensure design, budget, and schedule conformance.
• Coordinate progress with suppliers and subcontractors on the project.
