Job summary

CoVolt Power in Texas is seeking a Project Engineer to support field construction for utility-scale solar and storage projects. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure scope execution, safety, quality, and schedule alignment at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience reading IFC drawings and job specs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in construction.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to relocate to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar energy projects for an assigned scope.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, and schedule.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face communication.
• Coordinate activities for project execution with oversight from the Superintendent.
• Support project administration to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal process for the assigned scope.
• Handle contract administration, scheduling, and risk management tasks.
